Room 2 and Room 1 went to the Nash's to watch a sheep getting shorn.
First Mr Nash had a trick on us.
"Do we need some scissors?" he said.
And we said, "No!"
"Do we need clippers?"
We said, "No!"
"Do we need these?"
We said, "Yes!"
Next he got Snowy out. First he sheared her belly, then her neck, then her leg. Finally he shore her back.
It was a funny day. We went back to school.

On Tuesday Room 1 and 2 went in cars to my farm. We went because we are learning about wool.
When we got there my dad said why you have to shear a sheep.
Next he sheared Snowy. After that he shore the belly. Next he sheared the leg. After that he shore the head. It looked flat. First he did the side and then the other side. Later he did the last part. Then the sheep turned pink. It looked weird. After that we asked questions. The questions were very good. Next I said, "Careful. Don't cut his head off."

A Trampoline Accident

Last weekend I went to Kelly Taltons in the car after rug by because I was so good at rugby. When I got there, there were no car parks at Kelly Taltons so we had to find a car park. We had to find one. Before too long we did, so we went into the car park and we hopped out of the car and went to Kelly Talons. We had to go in the door with a picture of a penguin on it.
One of the first things I saw were the penguins swimming underwater.
It was weird because when they swam bubbles came from their tail. I never saw that last time I was there.

Tenaija's South Island Holiday

On the holidays I went to the seal colony in the South Island and I got to pat a baby seal and it was heavy. and I went to the Fox glacier and it was cold and I eta some and it was cold. I went to the Franz Joseph glacier and we went to have a feel. It felt cold on my hans and it was slippery. And I went to a cave and when I went in it was dark and I saw cave wetas and dad took a picture because we were under a big rock.

Logan's Big Day

Yesterday we went to Waiwera. We went on a bush walk. We didn't go all the way. Then we went back to the car. and I played I spy with Dad. After that we left and we went to the Fish and Chips shop. The fish were full of grease. We won't go to that one again. Then we went to the 4 square. Someone was clipping his nails so we had to go to another dairy. When we got there we got an ice block. Anna's Dolphin Experience

In the holidays I went camping with my family and friends.
One day when we were at the beach Dad brought down the canoe. Then Karen told Dad that there were dolphins so Nic and Kendyll went out with Dad but then Kendyll swapped with Dad and came in to get me.
When we got there, the dolphins started playing. When the dolphins went under the canoe they looked like eels. They were dark blue.
When you put your head under you could hear the dolphins.
