Abby's Halloween

Colour Poems

Colour poems
We have been thinking about the way colours can be used to communicate.
Please read our colour poems and try to see the pictures we have tried to create with words.
We were learning to use adjectives to make our poems paint pictures in our minds.
View more presentations from Tina Donnell.
Here is a link to poems about colour by other children. I hope you like them too.
Here is an animoto version. I wonder which one you will like best and why.

Letters to the Three Little Pigs

We have been thinking about the story the wolf might have told about the three little pigs. We wondered if he might have a different way of looking at what happened.
Read these letters from the wolf to see what he has to say.
If you click on the picture, it will link to a voice thread where you can see all the other letters we wrote.

Leopard's Bubble Poems

We brought the things we needed to school and had a bubble blowing time.
There were soap suds everywhere!
After that, we thought of lots of adjectives to describe the bubbles.
We wrote poems using the adjectives.

On the weekend I had a sleepover in Fletcher's room.
We did spooky stories and I lost my tooth in the car.

Cross Country Race

Yesterday it was Cross Country at Kaipara Flats Sports Club. It was fun. I liked it there. We had to run around the field.
